What a turn of events.
Better Call Saul has become a rare example of a spinoff that actually lives up to its main series.
The seventh season of The Walking Dead felt like we were just spinning our tires waiting for an inevitable conclusion.
No, that’s not a typo and it’s not April 1st.
I really don’t want to have a weekly/biweekly bitch session about this show… but sometimes I can’t help it. I literally just wrote about this two weeks ago and The Walking Dead came out and did it again. That deer scene last night was so comically bad that I just have to talk about it.
One of the major concerns with The Walking Dead in approaching this area of the story was that it might be too comic booky for tv. The level of ridiculously over the top things is prominent in this area of the story; with Negan and Ezekiel in particular. The reaction has been relatively mixed now that this material is being transferred to the show and I guess they’re quadrupling down on it.
If someone could please tell me what in the world the producers of The Walking Dead are doing, I’d appreciate it.
